Even with Burnham dropping a rink the Blues still managed to lose this KO match by 6-shots, once again the standout rink came from Mike Fry and Alan Sheen skipped by Gordon Sansam with a 22-shot win.
Ladies 44-40 Long Ashton
Losing on two rinks narrowly plus a good win on the third gave the Ladies a hard-earned win in this NSTL match. Winning rink of Carol Marshall and Val Mellow skipped by Carol Edlin, 7 up after just two-ends, by the 9th they let that slip-away and we were all square, a purple patch on the 13th and lasted for four-ends where they regained the lead winning the match by 7.
Blues 109-76 St. Andrews
The Blues march on, winning on 5 of the 6 rinks with one outstanding rink that of Mike Fry and Alan Sheen alongside skip Gordon Sansam with a 38-shot winning margin which included a 6, 2 s and 2 4s.

Clarence lose out to the Saints in the Wedmore Plate. With Best Rink going to Mike Russell, Derek Sims and Terry Cottrell skipped by Allan Cord taking his Rink to a 4-shot win.
Ladies 59-53 West Backwell
More success in the WDLL for the Ladies this time taking 8 points. Best Rink goes to Jan Anning and Jan Field skipped by Corrine Thomas, coming back strong after not scoring for the first four ends, then taking 3 on the fifth closely followed by a 7 on the 7th, slowly they built a lead taking the match by 9-shots.
Ladies 46-41 Congresbury
A win, draw and a loss in this WDLL match, superior shot difference gives the Ladies 7 of the ten points on offer. Rink of the Day goes to Ange Sims and Val Mellow skipped by Sue Tassell, losing a single on the first end but by the fourth-end were 4-1 up, nip and tuck until the 11th, then Tassell`s Ladies took charge, not dropping a shot and running out winners by 10-shots.
