A close match was this one though 1 rink does standout – Kay Wray, Jon Scott and Sue Newbury alongside skip Dave Clifford, after a jittery start losing the first two-ends they managed a four, building on that to run out winners by 15-shots.

A good day for the Golds (Some say its about time). Two games went down to the wire, first, Frank Bertram and Jon Loveridge with skip Nigel Martin. The second was Jon Scott and Derek Weston alongside skip Phil Doughty, both teams all square with 1 to play, both of them take a 1 and ensure the win.

Blues 110-98 Burnham
A nice and useful match from the Blues taking 17 points helping to maintain third position in the League. Golds 72-129 Portishead
With the League positions as they are, one nearly top and one nearly bottom, therefore taking 4 points by the Golds a was good result under the circumstances.
