Golds 91-81 Victoria Vikings
The physical score on the cards was 81 apiece but due to Victoria only able to supply five rinks, 10 shots was added to the Golds total and giving them the win. Second win of the season for the Golds, may it continue. Today we have three-rinks that deserve a mention, starting with Jon Scott and Keith Johnson skipped by John Johnson, until two-ends to go they were 5 down, penultimate end and they take a single, last end they take a magnificent four and their match is drawn. Next, Trevor Richards and Les Tassell well skipped by Trevor Joint, 10 up after 8-ends, a lead they hold onto through the match, running out winners by 11. John Tooje and Jon Loveridge skipped by Mike Samways lead by 10 after only 4-ends maintaining this to the end of the match
Blues 91-88 Burnham
A tight game with the Blues coming out on top taking 12 points from the match. Rink of the Day goes to Bob Rossiter and Dougy Grier skipped by Tony Mannion taking the match by 17-shots.
Clarence Men 45-72 Bristol 'B'
The end of a miserable week for Clarence as a whole as they crash away in the SCL on Saturday, Bristol B gave us lesson in lawn bowls, beating us on all three rinks by a margin.
Ladies 57-60 Congresbury
More disappointment as the Ladies loose out, this time by 3-shots, this time in the WDLL. Best rink goes to Carol Marshall and Christine Hooper skipped by Mary Davison with a 3-shot win.
Ladies 48-49 Clevedon Top
Desperately unlucky Clarence loose out by 1-shot in this NSTL Match. Best of the rinks came from Ange Sims and Val Newnham along side skip Mary Davison who stormed this match with a 14-shot win which included a 4 on the last.
Clarence BC 48-49 Bloomfield
Disappointment for Clarence as they lose out in the Area Final of the Tony Allcock by two shots. Damn hard-fought match, if the match had finished on the 17th Clarence would have finished one up, but as they say “there`s always next year”
Clarence A 29-27 Frome Selwood BC
With half the Club on a Torquay area tour for the week, that left just one match for the week, but what a good one it was, away to Frome in the Tony Allcock Competition. Clarence took this hard-fought match, with one win a side, it was all decided on the last end, penultimate end and Clarence were trailing by 2, final end and both Clarences rinks picked up 2`s taking the win by 2, taking Clarence through to the Regional Final.
Golds 58-139 Banwell
The Golds second loss in two days, the latest loss from a trouncing from Banwell with the Golds picking up just two points saving the whitewash was Les Tassell and Trevor Joint skipped by rising star Phil Doughty, trailing until the12th, then a 4-end purple patch, seeing them take 8-shots with no reply, taking them into a six-shot, running out winners by 4.
Golds 91-99 Portishead
The Golds come away with just 4 points from this fiercely fought match, stand out rink came from Les Tassell and Trevor Nash skipped by Trevor Joint taking a 25-5 victory.

The Men are KO`d by Victoria in the NSBA KO Cup the only resistance cane from Derek Sims, Barry Hetherington and Trevor Joint alongside skip Allan Cord
